
Description
CYCLES is a strategic Visual Novel of hard science fiction, set in a hyperfuture where the sun must be kept alive by human hands. Make the right choices for humanity to survive.
My role
As project lead, I handled all organization: time management, task assignment, team management, and GDD documentation. I primarily worked on the narrative—character creation and dialogue writing—as well as balance. I was in charge of art direction and created all the game's visuals.
Story
The sun threatens to die out, as it does each cycle, and humanity launches yet another major mission to restart it. You play as an artificial intelligence, created to explore every possible scenario and find the right one to prevent the end of the world.
Game objective
Reach the end of the cycle without humanity being destroyed. To do so, maintain balance between all gauges representing society's pillars.
Gameplay
Meet important characters, analyze what they tell you, and make choices considering your society's current state. Keep the gauges balanced and complete your mission.
